Squat Benefits

Sitting in a chair is destroying your back. It’s even destroying your digestive health.

Do you work at a desk? Even if you have a standing desk, or an under-the-desk treadmill, here is one thing you can do to improve your back health, and digestive health.

A full squat!

Babies and kids do it naturally. It’s a comfortable resting position. Some places around the world still practice the full squat as their “chair”.

Deep, or full squats have the following benefits:

🔵Decompression of the spine
🔵Improved balance
🔵Increased ankle mobility
🔵Improved posture
🔵Improved digestive health

If you can’t get into a full squat, just start practicing! 5 to 10 minutes a day, try to get as low as you can. Over time, you should be able to get into a full squat.
